Service Technician

Location

London Area

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for producing reports / surveys and undertaking repairs, replacement and installation work. You must be flexible as you will be required to work long hours, attend early or late appointments and occasionally work away from home. You will uphold the company’s standards of performance at all time, be a professional individual and a good ambassador for Solaglas Windowcare and its clients.

Necessary Skills and Experience

Previous experience in the glazing industry is essential, and further training will be provided to enhance your current knowledge, therefore you must be willing to learn the necessary skills. The role demands team-working skills and customer awareness as you must understand and fulfil customer needs. Some geographical knowledge is desirable. You must also hold a full clean driving licence.

National Customer Service Audit Controller

Location

Hellaby, Rotherham

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

You will be an integral part of the Customer Service Compliance Team, measuring compliance throughout the business through conducting regular audits and process reviews. You will measure the performance of the business in line with the expectations of our entire customer base. You will ensure we are fully compliant with all legislation and processes required both internally and externally. You will carry out scheduled audits each month on various jobs/ claims and score the results against internal SLA documents, published and fed back to managers and teams in the form of organised meetings or reports.


Necessary Skills and Experience

You should be able to support and drive change throughout the business to the benefit of customers, key individuals and departments within the business. You will be confident and assertive, able to welcome feedback and be able to influence others. You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. You must also be able to demonstrate a high standard or previous operational knowledge.

Temporary Customer Service Advisor
(Temporary for 6 months)

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Based in the Customer Services Department, you will assist with customer queries, complaints and general inquiries. You will be required to provide accurate information, solutions to problems and liaise with other departments to find the best solutions enabling in depth levels of service to the customer.

Necessary Skills and Experience

The successful candidate must have relevant experience of working within a vibrant Customer Services department. Educated to GCSE, or equivalent in Maths and English, you will be IT literate, competent in Word and Excel, and multi-skilled in all administrative functions. Maintenance Project Coordinator

Location

Hellaby, Rotherham

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Working closely with the Projects Department, you will procure components, parts, materials and access equipment for delivery to site. In conjunction with projects and installation staff, you will agree the most effective method of performing work in order have the correct equipment on site. You will compile risk assessments, method statements and safe systems or work for issue to engineers and site. You will ensure that pre-start meeting minutes are acted upon and all work to the project and installations department is smoothly handed over.

Necessary Skills and Experience

To effectively perform this role, you must be able to understand and quickly process information and documentation within the department. You must have experience of working within a busy administrative function and have experience of dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers. You must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal, have good problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Maintenance Administrator

Location

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

You will give administrative support to maximise efficient operation of the maintenance services sector. You will develop skill in all administrative functions particularly in both Estimating and Project Coordination capability. You will raise jobs on the system, index photographs as well as input and generate information as requested.

Purchase Ledger Clerk 

Location

Hellaby, Rotherham

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Based in the Accounts department, you will be responsible for maintaining the day to day running of the purchase ledger, ensuring all purchase ledger entries are processed efficiently and accurately. You will also be required to work with Navision matching delivery notes and orders to invoices. The most challenging part of this role will be to ensure accuracy at all times regardless of fluctuations in the volume of work.

Necessary Skills and Experience

Previous experience in an accounting environment is essential, and an accounting qualification would be an advantage. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English you will be IT literate and competent in Word and Excel. Previous experience of Navision would be an advantage. The vacancy would suit a self-motivated individual, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Complaints Handler

Location

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Working closely with the Customer Services and Customer Care teams, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining the complaints database. You will liaise with other areas of the business and the training department to ensure adequate support and coaching is given to complaints handlers. You will be required to contact customers, insurance companies, loss adjusters, contractors and non insurance account customers regarding complaints or problematic jobs and be able to communicate effectively with other areas of the business to ensure the resolve of the complaints.

Necessary Skills and Experience

The successful candidate must have relevant experience of working within a Customer Services department and have experience of dealing with complaints You will be able to deal with difficult people and situations and diffuse potentially volatile situations. Educated to GCSE, or equivalent in Maths and English, you will be IT literate, competent in Word and Excel, and multi-skilled in all administrative functions. You will be a confident communicator, possess a professional polite telephone manner and able to transmit information in a clear, concise manner conveying excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Specification Administrator

Location

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Based in the Operations Department you will be responsible for pricing work to agreed tariffs and accurately place orders for glazing and frames. You will interpret information from surveys to compile accurate reports and liaise with engineers in order to resolve discrepancies. You will agree order ready dates with suppliers, process files to meet personal performance targets and work with engineers and suppliers to source parts locally for a fast turnaround.

Necessary Skills and Experience

Experience of working within a busy office environment would be an advantage. You will have a minimum of Grade C Maths and English GCSE’s or equivalent, be IT literate and competent in Word and Excel applications. Ideally, you will be a confident communicator with a professional, polite telephone manner. The vacancy would suit a self-motivated individual, capable of prioritising and organising tasks. You must be able to work consistently whilst under pressure in order to maintain a high professional profile to customers.

 Validations & Cash Collections Administrator

Outline of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for completing new instructions, loading new jobs and securing payment minimising loss of revenue. You will be responsible for liaising with insurance companies to obtain payment of invoice insurance claims whilst answering overflow calls from the call centre during times of surge, providing assistance with queries, complaints and general enquiries.

Necessary Skills and Experience

The successful candidate must have previous administrative experience, preferably working within a call centre environment. Educated to GSCE level or equivalent in Maths and English, you will be IT literate and competent in Word and Excel applications. You will be a confident communicator, possess a professional polite telephone manner and be able to deal with potential volatile situations. You must also be able to work to tight deadlines.
